Guru Rinpoche Item # SRSB-1
This
is a form of Padma Sambhava - Guru Rinpoche that
is especially invoked and revered for
elimination of obstacles. As most of you know,
Padmasambhava in the Vajrayana or Tantric
Buddhist tradition, is often referred to as the
"second Buddha", and was instrumental in
establishing the Buddhist tradition in Tibet.
Also known as the lotus born master, he is shown
standing, with a dorje in his extended right
hand, and skull cup and long life vase in his
left. His katvanga, or tantric staff, which is
the secret form of the revered consort Yeshe
Tsogyal is cradled in the bend of his left arm.
The master has a semi-wrathful expression and he
is surrounded by an aureole of flaming
effulgence. Em Ah Ho
This statue is a master crafted modern work from
Nepal, cast using the lost wax technique in
copper, with gold plated accents and a
hand-painted gold face and flaming aureole.

Pacify the outer, inner and secret obstacles
and spontaneously fulfill all wishes
